At St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, groundbreaking research and first class patient care give hope to children fighting pediatric cancer and other deadly diseases. St. Jude is the only pediatric cancer research center where families never pay for anything - treatment, travel, lodging and food for patients and a family member. It costs $1.8 million a day to operate St. Jude and more than 75 percent of St. Jude’s operating budget comes from public donations.
This year marks the 50th anniversary of St. Jude and its lifesaving mission. Since opening in 1962, St. Jude has made great discoveries on how to treat deadly childhood diseases, saving the lives of countless children around the world. But our work is not done. Your help is needed to defeat these terrible diseases once and for all.
