BENEFITING: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
The Gamma-Iota Chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon presents Teke Week: a series of philanthropy events to benefit the children of the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Consistent with the vision of founder and fellow Teke Danny Thomas, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family's ability to pay. Childhood cancer survival rates have increased from 20% in 1962 to 80% today, due to the efforts of St. Jude's and organizations like it. Any contribution you can make to this incredible cause is immensely appreciated. A schedule of events is as follows:
Monday 4/20: Hungry Buffs Delivery
Tuesday 4/21: Half-fast/South Mouth Sponsor Night
Wednesday 4/22: TKE Car Wash at 2491 Colorado Ave, 3:30pm - $5
Saturday 4/25: Car Smash at 928 University, 2-7pm, details in attachment.
Special thanks to our sponsors, Half Fast Subs, South Mouth Wings, and Hungry Buffs!
