THE STORY:

Edgar Morales, a member of our engineering team in Centerpointe, was visiting his family in Guatemala over the Thanksgiving holiday when their joyous family celebration turned to tragedy. Edgar’s sister was killed in a car accident and she left behind her 8 year old son and 9 year old daughter. The bereaved family is devastated about the loss and Edgar is now in the process of adopting the two children. As many of us know, such adoption process can be financially overwhelming. How can we help? AREP has established a fundraising site to raise money to aid Edgar with the cost of adopting the children as well as to help lift up the children’s spirits during this holiday season by providing them some holiday gifts. Should you wish to offer financial help, you may donate at the fundraising website which can be accessed via the link below. You may also forward a check or cash to Robin McConnell or Kori Friedman. Any amount that you donate will be a great help and very much appreciated. AREP will match every dollar donated toward this cause. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.

Although no money can fill the void of such a loss, may every dollar make the adjustment a tiny bit easier to navigate through. 3 years ago
