BENEFITING: AUTISM FAMILY FOUNDATION
ORGANIZER: AUTISM FAMILY FOUNDATION
EVENT: Akron Marathon 2012
EVENT DATE: Sep 29, 2012
in addition to what's being stated below, amazingly I have committed myself to running a Half Marathon on Sept. 29th in Akron. Now for those of you that know me, you probably know my aversion to running distances.
That being said, the reason I am doing this is to help raise money in the battle against Autism. Autism really came to my attention as my family became friends with the Cheney family; parents Kyle & Missy and children Joey & Julia. Joey has autism and he is an awesome child. While Autism has it's challenges for the family, being able to donate to this fundraiser helps provide not only Joey, but all children with Autism with the opportunity to receive better care, better teaching and better resources to achieve a quality of life that we all strive for.
So please consider donating to this tremendous cause to help provide a great future for Joey and all children with Autism. Your contributions are greatly appreciated. And god willing I'll even finish the half-marathon.

The Autism Family Foundation provides resources and information for the entire family that they may not be able to find on their own. Creation of a nonprofit charitable organization will assist families dealing with the Autism Spectrum Disorder. Our advocacy and resources will enhance the lives of these children and their families as they develop from birth to adulthood. This support comes in many different ways from live seminars to web links. The Family Center also has the Kids First School for children with autism - a program operated by Summit County Educational Service Center.
Thank you for your support!
