BENEFITING: CHILDREN'S HEMIPLEGIA AND STROKE ASSN.
CHASA helps thousands of families with children who have suffered a stroke and it is an organization that is very near to our hearts, as we have a child with hemiplegic cerebral palsy. We have found a huge network of support from other families in CHASA who are walking the same path. CHASA has become an extended family for those with children that have been affected. In addition to support and information, CHASA provides scholarships for orthotics (braces), community and para-olympic sports participation, and college. They help families link up with research studies so our “Hemi-Kids” can have access to the cutting edge technologies and developments, as well as help pave the way for better therapies for the children who come after ours. CHASA also hosts a national retreat, usually annually, which allows families to come together, allowing our kids to see others just like themselves, sometimes for the first time ever. This retreat has benefit beyond measure for everyone in attendance, and CHASA provides scholarships to help those who otherwise cannot afford to attend. CHASA has been a God-send to us, and we wish to help them help others on our path. Any donation toward this worthy cause is deeply appreciated. You may support this fundraiser through direct donation here, or you may attend our Strikes for Kids' Strokes event on May 21, from 2-5pm at New Smyrna Lanes in New Smyrna Beach, FL. Thank you for your consideration.
