BENEFITING: THE MAYORS FUND TO ADVANCE NEW YORK CITY
I can't lie; the decision to go forward with this Sunday's NYC Marathon left me with mixed emotions. Is it too soon? Are we taking precious resources and man-power away from desperate areas in need? Is it just insensitive??
Despite these questions and emotions, the mayor has decided to move forward with the marathon. I love this city. I love this marathon. I never thought those two loves would clash.
