BENEFITING: ST TAMMANY HUMANE SOCIETY
I have always been a huge animal lover (who isn't, really?!). I grew up in St. Tammany parish, and the St. Tammany Humane Society is an amazing organization. It is a no-kill, non-profit shelter that relies completely on support from the surrounding community. So even if you're not from St. Tammany, not from Louisiana, or even not from the United States, please consider donating to this wonderful organization, without whom I would not have my beloved and spoiled cat, Tigger.
The St. Tammany Humane Society is the only non-profit animal sheltering and welfare organization serving St. Tammany parish, and as such, we rely primarily on the assistance of the community we serve to care for the more than 1,000 orphaned pets that enter our shelter each year.
We offer a variety of services and have developed several programs to give these companion animals a second chance and a new leash on life.
Please take some time to dig in to the site and see what we’ve got to wag our tail about.
