BENEFITING: GUIDE DOG FOUNDATION
EVENT DATE: Apr 22, 2017
The service dog programs of America’s VetDogs® were created to provide enhanced mobility and renewed independence to veterans, active-duty service members, and first responders with disabilities, allowing them to once again live with pride and self-reliance. Not only does a service dog provide support with daily activities, it provides the motivation to tackle new challenges. The St Joseph's College and Suffolk Community College chapters of Student Veterans of America will be hosting our first Ruck-n-Roll, where veterans, members of the community and campus will engage in a challenging 7 mile ruck march. It will bring people from all walks life to socialize, exercise, and bring awareness to veteran issues while fundraising for our charity.
