BENEFITING: DOMINICAN ACADEMY OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK
ORGANIZER: DOMINICAN ACADEMY OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK
EVENT DATE: Nov 29, 2016
I remember in third grade I ran up to my mom and told her that Dominican Academy was where I was going to attend high school. This school has given me so many opptortunities already and I'm only half way through my sophmore year. Not only do I have a great group of friends, but I am also in glee club and campus ministry and I do the shows with some other DA girls at Xavier High School. The list of opportunities at this school is endless. I love it here and they do so much for us besides giving us an amazing education. I couldn't imagine myself anywhere else.
DA generously gives each student a $5,000 scholarship to make it possible for more students to get the education of a lifetime. Since they give these scholarships, we are having this fundraiser to raise the money the school loses through the scholarships. The reason we need this money is so we can make DA even better than it is right now. Thank you!

- New York City is our classroom. This fall students traveled to the American Museum of Natural History, the Museum of the City of New York, The Paley Center for Media and the Museum of Modern Art for immersion learning trips.
