Dear Friends and Family,
This year, the NYU Stern International Volunteers would like you to become a part of our impactful initiative in Ghana, Africa. In May, our team of 25 students will be traveling on a social impact mission to the Ghanaian village of Woadze Tsatoe with the purpose of creating sustainable economic opportunity through partnering with Studio 189, a social enterprise co-founded by Rosario Dawson and Abrima Erwiah. Through providing locally sourced artisanal fashion collections, this enterprise has created a platform to sustain livelihoods while promoting truly inspired African fashion crafts.
Studio 189 wants to start a brand new production unit in Woadze Tsatoe, but there is still a long way to go and we request your help in making a change! By donating you are becoming a part of the development of a self sustaining business in a village that currently has limited infrastructure. All proceeds will go towards setting up a sustainable production unit for Studio 189 in the Woadze Tsatoe village. Your donation will make a difference to the lives of more than 500 people and contribute to their skill development and economic opportunities.
