STW has a team running in the Denver Rock 'n' Roll Marathon on Sunday, October 20th. If you still need to register for the Rock 'n' Roll Marathon, please visit http://runrocknroll.competitor.com/denver. There is a Marathon, a Half Marathon, Mini Marathon (3.7mi.) as well as a Bike Tour (22mi.) which takes place on closed streets before the running events begin.
All of these events are fantastic opportunities to support our Share Your Story program and to help us raise funding to launch a new community-based program during the spring. We would love to have you on one of our running or cycling teams on Oct. 20, and we would be very grateful for any help that you can provide with fundraising too. However, fundraising is not required in order to be part of the team -- please just come out and run or ride your bike with us either way!
We are working to hit our fundraising goal in order to continue publishing articles about people living with epilepsy and to support the launch of a new program in the spring, which will provide opportunities for people with epilepsy to connect with each other for fun, safe, active outings and adventures.

*Every team member who raises at least $200 will receive a new "World Shirt" on race day. We call it the World Shirt because it is the ideal shirt for getting out into the world, whatever that might look like: long bike tours, runs, walks, hikes, mountain bike rides, backpacking trips and other adventures.
