Success for Emily and Micheal
Organized by: Irene Adams
My name is Michael Sanchez and my daughter Emily Machado was abducted internationally from Illinois to Brazil back in 2008. I began on an emotional search to find my only child. I lost sleep, I fell into a deep depression during the search. I never thought in a million years, that I would lose my only child. I always had a feeling that my daughters abduction would only last a few days, and at most, a few weeks, but it last over 3 years. I spent countless hours making phone calls, raising the concern to the media and spend thousands for the search. It was not until 2011 that I received some relief. With help from the National center for missing & exploited children, child watch of North America, and the Committee for missing children, was I able to reunite with my daughter. Unfortunately since our reunion on August 17, 2011 just days passed my birthday, and a week before my daughters birthday, I was fortunate enough to see her again in December, but I have been unable to see her since. My financials are low, and I cannot afford flights to Brazil. So I am asking my friends, family and supporters to please lend a helping hand. My life has been hard. I grew up without my dad. At the age of 16, I lost my mom to a sudden death right in front of me. I will never give up on my daughter, and doing all I can to see her again. I am really hoping to visit my daughter in August for her birthday. If you cannot donate, please feel free to share this page. I appreciate all your support at this time of need.
