WANDAA is hard at work again…
WANDAA is hard at work again and we need your help. This time the crisis is right here in our own backyard. As I'm sure all of you know the New Jersey and New York shorelines have been devastated by Sandy. We have partnered with several very courageous local groups that are working very hard to help those in need. Please consider helping WANDAA again in making a difference to those who have been affected. The new fundraiser can be found here: http://www.crowdrise.com/restoretheshorenjny/fundraiser/wandaa
I hope we can rely on some of the incredible support that allowed us to make a difference and help those in need in Japan.
Thank you.

Hello all... just wanted to …
Hello all... just wanted to give you a quick update. More supplies are being purchased and packaged this week for another shipment to Japan. We also have a small team of volunteers heading over with this group of shipments to document our efforts while distributing. The needs of Japan continue and will for some time. We keep adjusting the items being sent with feedback from people on the ground in the shelters and working with supply distribution. Today we were on a live radio show based out of the New York and New Jersey area. Hopefully, this radio appearance will give us another push of momentum to raise more dollars so more help can be sent to Japan. You can listen to the radio show at this website http://bit.ly/dV9f6m click on the listen to past shows button and you will see our audio file at the top of the list.
I thank you again for all your help and support you have provided through this fundraiser. And ask that you do not give up and try to give another push for another shipment of suppies in the next 2 weeks.
Thanks

Good afternoon Team...(afternoon for those of us in the US). We have just started a new Project on crowdrise and would love to have your support. A Tornado has ripped through a western Pennsylvania town and caused great damage to upwards of 90 homes and even completely destroyed some. There are close to a hundred families in that area in need of help right now. Please jump over to our Pennsylvania Tornado Relief Project and help if you can. For those of you in the US, this may be close to home for you. Or you may even live in this town. Please let us know as we will be searching out the families to provide what we can directly to them.
Thank you for all your support.

I just wanted to say thank y…
I just wanted to say thank you to each and every one of you for your loyal support and help in raising funds to send help to the Japanese people. This situation is close to my heart as I lived in Japan for a year back in '91/'92 and gained a first hand knowledge of their land and culture. It is breath taking to view the images of the destruction and I'm sure all of you feel the same when you think "how could you make it through something like this". The scariest thing is that such a disaster could take place in our own homelands. And if it did, we would need the help and encouragement of others to move forward. Please do not give up your efforts. We at WANDAA will continue to raise money to send aid for as long as aid is needed. And that could be for years. Every little bit helps. So please continue to ask for that next donation....whether large or small...it will go to help a victim through this tragedy. Thank you for your help. James Arnott, Executive Director, WANDAA
