Sue Groom fought and lost her 5 month battle to Ovarian Cancer on June 19, 2009. She was a loving a wife, mother, grandmother, sister and daughter and we miss her each and every day. Thank you for your help in keeping her memory alive, and bringing awareness to this aggressive cancer.
Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Ohio represents "hope”. A hope that more women and men would become aware of ovarian cancer, as well as its symptoms. Hope that awareness would lead to earlier detection of the disease, increasing survival rates. And finally, the ability to provide hope to women and families who have been touched by ovarian cancer in the form of activities and events designed to improve their quality of life and show they are not on this journey alone.
