 Summit School has offered classes, workshops, concerts, a Trad Camp for Children, and Artist in Residency programs to area schools and organizations since 2007.  We are a collective of professional and practicing Traditional musicians, dance instructors, and folklorists with a keen appreciation for all the traditions that comprise our cultural heritage.  We include instruction in fiddle, banjo, mandolin, guitar, singing, songwriting, session repertoire and more.  And, we cover all the traditions:  Quebecois, Celtic, Swedish, Scottish, Appalachian, Old Time and more.  We work closely with area Arts organizations like Chandler Music Hall, Barre Opera House, Flynn Center for the Performing Arts and others.  And, we present workshops and special events with visiting artists from around the globe - including John Doyle, Martin Hayes, Alasdair Fraser, The Wiyos, Mark Spencer and Jimmy Ryan, Sattuma, Ken Perlman, Riley Baugus, Dirk Powell, Anna Lindblad, Tony Demarco, and many more.
