This is in addition to our already amazing prize packages!
The team that gets the most donors in the last 72 hours will receive a 60-minute massage from the Orchid's Nest, along with a selection of their handmade products.
The team that raises the most money in the last 72 hours will receive a $50 gift certificate to Benny's on the Beach, along with 5 hours of babysitting for two children from Sunshine Sitters.

1. Set a goal on your Crowdrise page.
Setting a goal is a great way to let your family and friends know you are excited and invested! We recommend setting a goal for your fundraiser and keeping everyone you know updated on how close you are to your goal. They'll want to help you get there if you give them a reason why it's so important to you.
To set your goal, go to your personal Crowdrise fundraising page, click on the "Edit Fundraiser" tab, scroll down to "Set Fundraising Goal," hit edit, and choose the number that fits how much you hope to raise to support Sunflower.
2. Spread the word! Send a personal email, Facebook, and/or text message to everyone you know and love.
Here are sample messages you can use. The more personal you make it to why YOU love Sunflower, the more excited your family and friends will be to support you.

Join me to hop, skip and jump for Sunflower Creative Arts!
My family loves being part of Sunflower Creative Arts, a nonprofit focused on protecting the freedom and creativity of childhood.
On March 6, we will be participating in their Hop, Skip & a Jump-A-Thon, a crazy playful walkathon, where all funds raised will benefit Sunflower's Play + Nature + Art programs.
You can join us! Sign up to walk with us, or support our team with a donation of $25 (or more!) here: https://www.crowdrise.com/SunflowerHop (OR MODIFY THIS TO YOUR OWN CROWDRISE PAGE)
Why we're asking for your support
Because hands-on learning experiences in Play, Nature and the Arts are absolutely essential for healthy human development. Join Sunflower in making these experiences possible for more children!
Income from Sunflower programs covers only a portion of their budget. Generous financial gifts from friends and supporters make up the difference. Your support will help keep Sunflower's garden green, their swings swinging and their cabinets stocked with paint, clay, glitter, glue and costumes. You'll also help them educate worldwide online and local real-life communities about the importance of Play + Nature + Art experiences. Sunflower couldn't do it without you!

3. Be specific.
Mention what you and your family love about Sunflower - why are you so excited that you're asking them to support you?
Ask for a specific amount. This helps them understand what you're hoping for. They can choose to give less (or more!) according to what works for them, but it helps for you to start with asking for, say, $25.
4. Say thanks!
Please thank all your donors ASAP. You can do this by tagging them in a Facebook post (a great way to encourage others to give too!), or sending them an email or text. Thanks can be quick and simple, and will let them know that their donation is appreciated.
5. Ask more than once.
Not everyone saw that Facebook post you already did. They might have missed the email you sent. Or perhaps they saw it, loved it, and then forgot to do it right then. Most people need to be asked at least three times before they act. Asking more than once is a great way to let people know - you are serious, and this is important to you. And it's a great reminder for people who keep meaning to, but just got busy (something most of us can understand, right?).
