BENEFITING: ASSOCIATION OF NEPALIS IN MINNESOTA
Loss of life is always hard, but it is beyond comprehension when it happens to a very young man with full of potentials. We, Nepalis community in Minnesota, want to express our heartiest condolence to family due to early demise of Arbin Thapa. Arbin was studying Hospitality Management at Southwest Minnesota State University since Fall 2015. He was born in 1997 and originally from Lamjung, Nepal. We are grieving from the loss of this 19-year-old student. He came to US in August 25, 2015. He went to Palisades State Park in Sioux Falls, SD with his four friends on Saturday, April 22nd for a weekend trip. Based on the information provided by Minnehaha county Sheriff Mike Milstead, Thapa jumped into the river water around 5 pm for swimming and was unable to float out. He might succumb to death due to the cold water. His dead body was taken out of the river on Sunday, April 23rd.
Although no words can really help ease the loss of life, at this period of grief, we want to express our deepest sympathy to Aribin’s family and want to support them as much as we can. We humbly request you to join us and pray for the family who has witnessed the irreparable loss. In order to help support Arbin’s family in this very difficult time, we have setup this fund. All the proceedings from this campaign will go directly to Arbin's family in Nepal. We sincerely request you to consider contributing to this fund and help grieving family do posthumous rituals without financial burden.
