Recently an amazing piece of news surfaced on the Internet. On August 31, it was made known that a team of researchers from Texas A&M University (Qatar campus) discovered a special formula to make synthetic rubber.
On its own it isn't so surprising, but what's wonderful is that this synthetic rubber can be the key component in producing biodegradable tires. This means that the tires of the future would be recyclable and would pose very little hazards compared to conventional tires dumped in landfills. For one, biodegradable tires would not release harmful chemicals and would not take a long time to decompose.
With that, I hope everyone sees the value behind supporting this cause for the betterment of our planet and mankind as a whole.
