Seeds of Peace has played an important role in my life and in the lives of thousands of other young people. I was lucky enough to attend the Seeds of Peace camp when I was sixteen and then return to camp as a counselor in 2010 and 2011.
I am excited to join the Alumni and Young Professionals Committee to support the extraordinary work that Seeds of Peace is doing with young people from conflict regions in the Middle East, South Asia, and the United States. Your donations to Seeds of Peace provide young people with the opportunity to learn critical leadership and conflict resolution skills that can help them strengthen their communities at home.
Having experienced the transformational impact that Seeds of Peace programming can have on young people first-hand, I encourage you to contribute what you can to support this important work.
About Seeds of Peace: Seeds of Peace inspires and cultivates new generations of global leaders in communities divided by conflict. They equip them with the skills and relationships they need to accelerate social, economic, and political changes essential for peace.
Since 1993, Seeds of Peace has set the standard in international peace-building by providing exceptional young people and educators from regions of conflict with an otherwise impossible opportunity to meet their historic enemies face-to-face at our International Camp in Maine.
They build on their extraordinary and critical relationships and understanding through year-round local programs that focus on the core leadership capacities needed to advance peace. There are now over 6,000 Seeds and Educators from 27 countries who prove that solutions exist, peace is possible, and there is reason to have hope for a better future.
