BENEFITING: New York Session Symphony Inc
EVENT DATE: Jun 05, 2017
Please help the New York Session Symphony (NYSS) continue its mission of providing free orchestra and chamber music concerts to our neighbors on the Upper West Side and to the members of Lenox Hill Neighborhood House - a senior center within a New York City Public Housing facility.
The New York Session Symphony is a community orchestra with members who range from young professionals to accomplished avocational players. Its concerts feature exciting soloists from rising stars like Corrine Byrne (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ExuSShHUe_4&t=528s) to amazing veterans like Stanley Drucker, former principal clarinet of the New York Philharmonic (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XTL55fV38qo&t=1188s).
NYSS is, proudly, the resident ensemble of the Lenox Hill Neighborhood House - we believe that we are the only orchestra serving as a resident ensemble for a public housing facility. Your contributions help support NYSS’s needs around rehearsal space, music rental, and artist fees.
Please give generously and help further NYSS’s mission of great music-making in NYC. NYSS is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, incorporated in New York State. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. www.sessionsymphony.org
