As a mother, my only goal is to support my children when they need. Right now, my oldest child needs me. Xander will be 16 next month and has just come out as f2m transgender. I support him. I am only having a hard time with 2 parts of it all. The first being those pesky pronouns. After 16 years of 'her' and 'she' I am trying my hardest to change them to 'him' and 'he'. And the second issue, and the reason for this fundraiser is to raise money for binders and clothing to help him feel comfortable in his own skin. He will be going back to school soon and is ready to come out publicly, but would feel more comfortable if he could really embrace his true self by getting rid of the bra's and blouses for clothes that really express who he is. That is why I am asking for help. I do not have the ability to afford all these items right now. We have 2 other children, one who is special needs who requires full time care keeping us from having a two income household. I understand that times are tough right now all around the globe but I am hoping that there are a few people who understand our situation and are willing to help. My son is a great person, an artist, a writer and a quick and witty smartass who is finally starting to feel comfortable enough to tell the world who he is. I don't want him to feel like he needs to hide and I am willing to do whatever it takes to help. If you cannot share but want to show your support for my son please share this with your friends. Thank you!
