Support anti-nuclear writer/videographer for a year
Organized by: Mary Jane Williams
Support anti-nuclear writer/videographer for a year while I make my movies and write my novel, “Old Ladies Fight the Bad Guys.” The whole nuclear era has been a tragic mistake! Here’s my movie, “D.C. Days” about the annual citizen lobbying in Washington, D.C. by people who live near the polluted nuclear sites all over the country. The picture I'm submitting is of me standing behind fellow citizen lobbyists at the 2013 "D.C. Days" awards dinner. (It got nowhere in film festivals when I finished it in 2013 so I put it on youtube.) Attached is my play “Time Out” about when Ralph Waldo Emerson came back to life and became an anti-nuclear activist. Know any theaters willing to produce it? It was in the semi-finals of the Eugene O’Neill Playwrights Conference in 2013 but has never been produced and won’t ever be until A.) the next nuclear accident happens or a nuclear bomb goes off so everyone becomes anti-nuclear, or B) some professional theater is gutsy and anti-nuclear enough to put it on.) I may later try to raise money for specific projects. At the moment I just want to have enough to live and work. ---------- Oh dear. I see there's no way to do attachments on this application. If you know a theater with anti-nuclear wisdom and guts, please ask them to contact me for the script for "Time Out.' Here are links to more of my videos on youtube:

Most Americans don't know that residents of Washington, D.C. have no representative in Congress, neither the House nor the Senate
