Support the Capuchin Soup Kitchen!
Organized by: Matan Skolnik
All four of us--Joey Warsh, Olivia Rath, Samantha Yuen, and Matan Skolnik--are students in the Organizational Studies program at the University of Michigan.
As part of our class "Inside Organizations," we are conducting a fundraiser to benefit the Capuchin Soup Kitchen in Detroit, Michigan. The center has been serving Detroit since 1929, providing fresh meals daily, clothing, substance abuse therapy, adult education classes, and bathing facilities to those in need--completely free of cost. The organization receives no government subsidies, and relies on donations from people like you!
Our goal is to raise $5,000 for the Capuchin Soup Kitchen in 7 days. Your contribution will help the CSK give more hope, save more lives, and finish the fight against hunger and poverty in Detroit. Even if you donate just $1, that would be AMAZING! Thank you!
CSK lets you know exactly how your money will help. For instance:
$22.50 Provides 10 meals at one of our kitchens.
$37.00 Provides seeds for our vegetable gardens.
$75.00 Enables 10 families to make purchases at our market.
$106.00 Provides a 1 day supply of milk at our Meldrum location.
