BENEFITING: FRIENDS OF CHICAGO ANIMAL CARE AND CONTROL INC
EVENT DATE: Oct 12, 2014
I am participating in the Chicago Marathon to raise money for the Friends of Animal Care and Control (FCACC). Your tax-deductible donation will support FCACC efforts to continue saving the lives of over 23,000 animals that come into custody of Chicago Animal Care and Control shelter each year.
As many know my husband, Scott, and I have fostered many kittens throughout the past few years; many of whom you can meet by viewing the video. FCACC rescues dogs and even rabbits, one is even available for adoption now! These animals who need our support are my motivation as I prepare for and run the Chicago Marathon.
The City of Chicago takes in thousands of unwanted animals every year from citizens, brings stray animals in off the streets, and provides care for evidence animals in court cases.
And that's why Friends of Chicago Animal Care and Control was founded in 2003. FCACC provides help for as many of those unfortunate animals as they can. One way they do that is by transferring the animals from the shelter and places them in loving foster homes until they are ready to be adopted into their forever homes. Your financial donation will help save animals lives and ensure they are provided with the medical care and training they may need.
I hope you will support this cause by donating or sharing this page with others. Every contribution makes a difference and will directly support the care of Chicago’s neediest animals.
