BENEFITING: WATER FOR SOUTH SUDAN
CLEAN WATER SAVES LIVES!
Did you know that 1/9th of the world's population do not have access clean water? That’s more than 780 million people that don’t have clean water!
Furthermore, every minute 4 people around the world die because of water-related disease. Sadly, 4,000 children die each day from a water-related disease.

Support Water for South Sudan
I got involved by reading "A Long Walk to Water", by Linda Sue Park. The story was very moving and I think you should read it for yourself. The story is about a boy named Salva, and his long journey to find food, water, and shelter with his group of 1,500 lost boys.
Reading the story made me want to take action and start informing people about the water crisis in developing countries. It even inspired me to raise money for Salva's charity, Water for South Sudan.
Did you know a single well can bring clean water to an entire village?
The well improves village life, making it so that girls don’t have to walk 8 hours to get water that’s not even clean and has bacteria that can give you diseases. With a well, the girls will have the time to go to school, and the village can get more work done and prosper.
Our goal is to raise $15,000 dollars for Salva's charity, so the team can build a well in a village in South Sudan.
Please join us by making a donation or, if you're feeling really inspired like me, become a team member! :)
Thanks so much for your support.
