Today, there are more than 1,5 million micro and small enterprises in Chile, that employ more than 80% of the local work force. The leaders of this businesses are law-income entrepreneurs with no networks and little management skills. There is a great opportunity - through training, consulting, mentoring, commercialization, and incubation services for vulnerable entrepreneurs - to increase theirs skills, productivity, business and self-esteem. Moreover, this impacts directly the productivity of the country and participate in the development of the country. Entrepreneurs have a big growth potential but today they are unattended, with no networks and without real and effective opportunities. Acción Emprendedora is supporting vulnerable entrepreneurs, in particular women who have around 42 years old, earn less than 290U$ a month, have not finish College, have no health insurance, have no experience with entrepreneurship and don't have any support of the government. Also, we are supporting young people who have a business idea or want to increase his own business. Those people are very vulnerable in Chile and need support to go out poverty. With the money raised, Accion Emprendedora expects to continue and extend its huge work, which is why we need support to increase our impact and still improve the quality of our work.
