Hello! My name is Jessica. I am originally from Mexico, but my family and I have been living in Texas, US for the last 12 years. I am a daughter, a sister, a friend, a disciple, a nurse, and now, a volunteer nurse in Peru.
My vocation as a nurse always came hand in hand with my vocation to serve as a volunteer with an organization such as CMMB. Therefore, I am very excited to finally graduate from nursing school and super excited for this volunteer work I'll be doing.
I will be in Huancayo, Peru and Trujillo, Peru where the main goal is improving the lives of women and children by helping out in different community health projects and health education. Your donation, as small as you think it might be, will make a big difference in the communities of Peru, in other communities around the world, and it will give more volunteers the opportunity to serve. Thank you in advance for all of your support; it is greatly appreciated.

CMMB is an NGO focused exclusively on global health care for the world’s poorest populations. We believe in a world in which every human life is valued, and health and human dignity are shared by all. Every year, we are so lucky to have generous, courageous people step forward and volunteer their time and expertise in areas of the world where it is most needed. They leave behind loved ones and employment to support our mission to help vulnerable women, children and families survive.
