Support Suzan's Skeete Fight Against Cancer
Organized by: Theresa Simms
Help Suzan Triumph over Cancer
In April of 2015, my baby sister Suzan Skeete, living in St Vincent and the Grenadines was diagnosed with inflammatory breast cancer. Inflammatory breast cancer is one of the most aggressive types of breast cancer that can occur in women of any age. She has since left St Vincent and the Grenadines and has traveled to the US to combat this disease/illness. Leaving behind her two teenage sons and our mother, for whom she is the primary caregiver. Suzan is a strong and resourceful single mom who is self-employed and had limited health insurance, which was quickly exhausted by the high cost of health to residents of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. The cost to treat illnesses like cancer is particularly high, since it is not available on the island.
As you can imagine, we would do anything for our little sister but fighting cancer is incredibly expensive. My sister Ophelia, my wife Theresa and I have pooled together the family resources and have paid for all her treatment thus far. Suzan has demonstrated incredible resolve in this fight for her life. She has aggressively researched for various alternative treatments available because of Ophelia’s experience with conventional treatment as she was fighting her own battle a few years ago. Suzan through her research finally found Hope4Cancer.
Hope4Cancer Clinic, a full service in-patient treatment center for cancer patients located in Baja California, Mexico, that combines the latest non-toxic, evidence-based medicine that selectively targets cancer cells, with a sophisticated WHOLE BODY CANCER TREATMENT PROGRAM. As a result, they can comprehensively treat not just the cancer itself, but also the often ignored, and the underlying conditions that stimulate the growth.
Her ongoing expenses for this treatment are around $4,000 a month. Our goal with this fundraiser is to help support her and to raise funds for her continued treatment for the next 18 -24 months. We are humbling ourselves to ask for your support to help save Suzan’s life. Whatever you can afford will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for any contribution and prayers for Suzan. God Bless!
