On the evening of April 9, 2014, Burton Salas died in a fatal motorcycle crash in Kihei, Hawaii (Maui). He was on his way home from a family gathering at his sister-in-law's home. He was having a great day and was SO excited about the birth of his second child which is due on April 26, 2014. In fact, one of his last FaceBook posts was, "Thank you God for this beautiful day — with Bethany Salas at Maui, Hawaii."
He loved his wife, Bethany, and 4 year old daughter with all of his heart. Because Bethany is near term with her pregnancy, Burton was the sole financial provider of his family. Burton was only 24 years old with a promising future. The family is now faced with the cost of burial, the cost of a newborn, and no income.
Burton Salas was truly a beautiful soul. He possessed a deep faith in God. And as he mentioned to Bethany 2 days before his death, "Death is the beginning of your eternity." His parents did a great job in raising a really good man.
Your donation will assist the Salas with the burial costs, rent, food, utilities, clothing, diapers, and other expenses over the next two years.
On behalf of the Salas and Merl Families, thank you for your support!
NOTE: Please be informed that all donations go directly to Bethany Salas' WePay account. The CrowdRise defaults show the organizer as the recipient. To confirm, please contact Bethany Salas: https://www.facebook.com/bmerl?fref=ts
