Dear Friends and Family,
On September 23rd, 2012, I'm going to compete in the Jarden Westchester Triathlon to help raise money and awareness for the Children's Cancer Fund (CCF). I'm competing in honor of my 6 year old son Quinn, who was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in the fall of 2011. He is currently doing well and will be in the maintenance stage of his chemotherapy for the next 2 1/2 years, a longer endurance event than I could ever imagine taking on myself. He is an amazing boy and a true inspiration to all of us. In fact, he completed his own first triathlon (with his super sib Mia), the West Point Tough Kids Triathlon, just a couple of weeks ago. Please support the cause, any and all donations help!
The doctors, nurses and social workers associated with Children's Cancer Fund have provided a tremendous amount of support, counseling and guidance (not to mention medical care) to our family during the last year. Please make a donation to support my participation in Westchester Triathlon and the help advance CCF’s mission. Thank you for your support!
All the Best,
The Children's Cancer Fund was founded in January 1993 by a small group of doctors, nurses and parents. The fund's primary goal is to establish and foster research in childhood cancer as well as enrich the quality of life for children with cancer by improving clinical and support services. CCF is based at New York Medical College/Westchester Medical Center/Maria Ferrari Children's Hospital in Valhalla, New York.
Help raise lots of money for the Children's Cancer Fund by DONATING today.
