BENEFITING: Michigan Ability Partners
EVENT DATE: Aug 23, 2014
Michigan Ability Partners help veterans and others with disabilities to get back on their feet and achieve self sufficiency. For 27 years, MAP had served persons with disabilities in southeastern michgian by providing vocational development (i.e. career placement) to those in need, housing support for veterans and others with disabilities that are both transitional and permanent, mental and physical health services and addiction treatments. As a result of MAP's work, the individuals MAP serves gradually require less social and governmental support as they cross the threshold to independent, self-supported and satisfying lives!
In support of MAP's mission, I'm looking to complete the 50 mile ultimate mountain bike adventure in Traverse City on August 23rd and raise $1,000. You can help support me in my endevour by sponsoring 1 mile for $20! You don't have to stop at 1 mile if you don't want too! I'm doing 50! If $20 is too much, please donate an amount you are comfort with. I'll connect you with other donors to jointly sponser a mile!
