Surgery for Chris
Organized by: Tannya Ortiz
As a mother I want to see my children do exactly what they dream of and when you see your child suffering because he can't do what he is so passionate about hurts. My son Christian Rivera started boxing at the age of 13, he lives and breaths boxing! He is 18 yrs old now and cannot further his boxing career due to him tearing his labrum while he was sparring. (The labrum is a piece of fibrocartilage (rubbery tissue) attached to the rim of the shoulder socket that helps keep the ball of the joint in place. When this cartilage is torn, it is called a labral tear. Labral tears may result from injury, or sometimes as part of the aging process.) In order for my son to continue boxing he needs surgery which is very expensive and our funds are very limited. So I am asking if you could please donate and share this, anything will greatly be appreciated! My son has a dream to become one of the greatest boxers PLEASE help us make his dream come true.
