Yearly we join the Race for a Cure, we have had many people close to us get the Breast Cancer diagnosis. Luckily for us, we can say they are survivors. Thanks to all who donate and come out to particiapate more survivor stories are being made. So please help with this fight, any donation will be greatly appreciated.
Race for the Cure Greater Hartford started in 1994 and has remained a staple in the Greater Hartford community ever since. Through funds raised by our Race participants, Komen Connecticut has contributed to funding more than $23 million in breast cancer research, local education, screening and treatment. Every dollar raised by Race for the Cure makes a lasting impact in the fight against breast cancer.
Did you know that Connecticut has the HIGHEST incidence of breast cancer in the U.S. with over 3,000 Connecticut women diagnosed annually? Komen Connecticut needs YOU as a part of our crusade to end breast cancer forever. Your fundraising efforts will help save the lives of Connecticut women.
More treatment. More research. More survivors. A cure.
