BENEFITING: National Fragile X Foundation
EVENT DATE: Oct 11, 2014
Let me start out first of all by saying THANK YOU. Thank you for taking the time to visit our fundraising page for Peter, and for all those effected by Fragile X Syndrome (FXS). Thank you to those who have donated in the past. Thank you to those who will donate again this year. Thank you if you are a first time donor. Every dollar helps us learn more, work toward a cure, and continue the support and fight for those who's lives have changed because of FXS.
Peter is now 6 and in first grade! He is amazing, hard working, helpful, kind, genuine, but most of all, he is loving and loved! He is now able to write his name, most capital letters, and is starting on numbers. He thrives at school and loves riding the bus and being with his friends during the day. Peter did participate in baseball this spring through the Miracle League and is part of our Diocesan Special Olympics Young Athletes team. He is very social and likes to participate with almost any activity.
Peter gets 100% out of every day, and shows everyone that life isn't about how many things you have or how big those things may be, but that as long as you have people around you to spend time with; that's all you need.
We would appreciate your support in our continued adventure of living with FXS. We never know what tomorrow will bring, but we do know that we appreciate every day, and every goal met, is one more victory!!!
