Susan's Senior Disabilities Expenses
Organized by: Susan Duffy
I am a single 67 year-old woman with life-threatening diagnoses of cancer and Multiple Sclereosis. Often, my illnesses require medication that is not covered by the Ontario Health plan or Trillium, at perhaps $600 for 30 pills. I also require special eyeglasses to ease my vision problems caused by MS. My income is very low from CPP/OAS at $818 per month. My rent is subsidized but I can barely make it through the month at this low income, use the food bank, and need winter boots and clothing. I do not have any family members to help me. Whatever you can contribute will keep me warm and healthy. May God bless you in your kindness.
