BENEFITING: RIVERSIDE COMMUNITY HEALTH FOUNDATION
EVENT: Pink on Parade 2014
EVENT DATE: May 17, 2014
AS Many of you know I was diagnoised with Breast Cancer in 2006. Those words "you have Breast Cancer" resignate in my brain always. But here I am today, 8 years cancer free.
Family is everything to me, it was my family that got me through my diagnoise. But they were not able to help with all the questions I had on the subject of Breast cancer. I remember spending 3 hours on a chair in Barnes & Noble with stacks of books reading, searching and dissecting each word.Little did I know there were and are resources out there for women and men who will hear those same words as I.
I am happy to take part in the 2014 Pink on Parade walk for Breast cancer. It will help benefit those who need resources and mentoring through an organization called The Pink Ribbon Place (A program of Riverside Community Health Foundation). Women and Men in the Inland Empire need these resources just like it is available with other organizations and counties.
Please help me raise awarness and funds to benefit this worthy cause. It really hits home for me, My cousin Debbie is a two time breast cancer survivor and My aunt Violet was just diagnoised 3 months ago. So you can see it has hit my family. And should this disease ever strick your family this Organization can be of great benefit and recourse's to you and yours.
Thank you and God bless and live each day to the fullest,
