THE STORY:

THE KRESSWORKS FOUNDATION wrote -

Like too many of us, Dr. James Kress has experienced devastation at the hand of cancer. When his sister suddenly relapsed (after being in remission for 25 years), and died of a particularly agressive form of cancer, called Ewing’s Sarcoma, Dr. James Kress committed himself to finding a systematic way to treat and to cure cancer (Engineer The Cure) as well as other “dread” diseases such as Multiple Sclerosis and heart disease, diabetes, Parkinson’s, and depression.

As a result, The KressWorks Foundation was founded in Northville, Michigan, in 2010 by Dr. Kress. We are a charitable, 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Scientific Research Corporation. The KressWorks Foundation conducts research, development, and application out of a sincere desire to improve the human condition.

What We Do

Dr. James Kress and his team are uniquely equipped to Engineer The Cure. They bring 30 years of work in Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Math Modeling, Materials Science, Quantitative Systems Pharmacology, Control Systems Engineering, Software Development, Systems Engineering and Business Management experience to bear on solving the riddle of Cancer.

Building on the medical discoveries of the 1st Revolution (Molecular Biology) and the 2nd Revolution (The Human Genome Project), Dr. Kress and his team have embarked on the 3rd Revolution in Medicine:  to join discoveries in the Life Sciences with the Physical Sciences Of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Engineering.

Recent Successes

  • First to design a Systematic Treatment Methodology (STM). The STM is a combination of Systems Engineering mathematical computer modeling and clinical measurements, which will provide a Targeted, Effective and Efficient methodology for treating Disease.
  • First to undertake the development of a Disease Progression Model for Ewing's Sarcoma, starting with the first Architectural Diagram of Ewing's.
  • First to successfully simulate Double Strand DNA breakage process, the initial step in Ewing’s.
