BENEFITING: GK 1 WORLD FOUNDATION
Help or "Tabang" Philippines is a fundraiser for the victims of super typhoon Haiyan (locally known as Yolanda) which tore through the central Philippines on Nov. 8. Regarded as the strongest storms ever recorded, here are some of the staggering facts according to the Philippine Government:
- Between 9 to 13 million Filipinos have been affected across nine regions concentrated in Eastern, Western and Central Visayas
- 4.4 million are displaced and 400,000 are living in evacuation centers
- Deceased: 5,000 and counting
All the money raised will go to Gawad Kalinga (GK) specifically to Gawad Kalinga Builders Institute administered by West Visayas State University in Iloilo City. GK will use the donation to buy food, water and toiletries for the affected families in the towns of Passi, Calinog and Concepcion in the province of Iloilo which were hit by the super typhoon.
Your donation is tax deductible. Please help spread the word; every bit counts.
Thank you for your generosity and support.
