BENEFITING: TABBYS PLACE A CAT SANCTUARY INC
Unlike the cats in our homes, feral cats don't know what it means to be loved and cared for. Living like ghosts at the edges of our neighborhoods, these cats struggle to survive, facing the grim prospects of euthanasia at public shelters, dwindling resources, lack of medical care and an ever-increasing population.
Your love will make the difference.
It has always been Tabby's Place's passion to rescue cats from hopeless situations. By helping us expand our mission to feral cats, you will extend your love to the neediest cats in our community.
With your help, Tabby's Place will launch a revolutionary program on behalf of feral cats: Targeted Trap-Neuter-Return (T2NR). This comprehensive method yields a lasting impact on the entire feral cat population of a given area, by
- proactively locating free-roaming cat colonies,
- altering and providing medical care for the cats,
- forging collaborative relationships with the community,
- safely relocating cats who cannot remain where they were trapped,
- and arranging for ongoing care and monitoring for the colonies.
By sterilizing all the cats in a given geographical area, T2NR provides comprehensive results and stable long-term populations.
We estimate there are 1,000 feral cats in our five surrounding townships. With your generosity, we will expand our medical facility to a vacant wing of our building. This will enable us to reach our first goal: to reach all 1,000 cats in three years.
Our goal includes funds for:
- medical equipment,
- operating expenses to reach our first goal.
By donating generously to Expand the Mission at Tabby's Place, you will provide feral cats with longer, healthier, happier lives.
As you nurture feral cats, you can create a lasting tribute to a beloved person or pet, or make an enduring statement about your commitment to cats in need. If you'd like, we can even feature your business name on a plaque in our new facility.
