TAGAI MENTORSHIP PROGRAM INC wrote -
The subway is the great equalizer. For $2.25, you can get anywhere in New York. You can travel to the Met or MoMA, to a job interview or to one of the amazing colleges within the city. For some, it isn’t so easy. You can change that.
The Tagai Mentorship Program matches recently immigrated high school students with young professional mentors to open up new worlds. Mentors provide the opportunity, know-how, time and experiences, but they need your help.
For many Tagai students, a subway fare is hard to pay. It stands between them and an entirely new world.
Only $4.50 can take them to a new career opportunity, a special exhibit or a visit to a cultural enclave — experiences that can shape their future.
We're writing to ask you to help create new possibilities for Tagai students, and to help us celebrate Opening New Worlds. Help us raise $10,000 by November 1st.
The more you give the more worlds you open!
$4.50 is one round trip fare on the subway
