Taiwan Dogs

I've never done this type of thing before, and I'm not sure if it will even really work, but I can think of one type of fundraiser I'd gladly stand by.

When I came to Taiwan 16 years ago, I took a 24mm film photograph of a house I thought was interesting in a country village in Taiwan, and every Taiwanese I showed the image to laughed when they saw a sign in the picture, that said in Chinese, "Fragrant Meat". They would all say, "You can eat dog!" Ha Ha! they would laugh, embarrassed at the exposure of the islands remaining old way of thinking.

Today Taiwan still has it's problems, and few people are working to change any of it.

This English guy I know has started a dog rescue ranch in Northern Taiwan. The atrocities that happen to animals in Asia far surpass anything we could imagine in the United States.

My good friend Sean has started two organizations in taiwan including the main SPCA chapter. But he's more than that type of hero. He goes into the rice patties and worse to rescue animals (not just dogs) in Taiwan.

I would like to spread the word and collect money for his cause. I will offer proof that all proceeds go directly to my friend.

Of course, he isn't a dog hoarder, and participates in many placement activities, even to the places abroad such as the US. His current organization is protecting animals that are being abused by persons embracing an older way of thinking that still exists in some parts of Asia.

This abuse includes traps, starvation, and often result in very disturbing images. Sean fights for the lives of every troubled animal that he encounters, and his new organization is just beginning, and he really needs your help.

The Charity is called TAIWAN ANIMAL S.O.S. and animals are being saved from atrocities in Taiwan because of this guy.
