Join Saving Grace as we Take Back the Night in honor of sexual assault awareness month this April. We will be raising awareness and raising funds for our sexual assault services. Be sure to come support all of the sexual assault survivors on April 7th at 6pm. We will be meeting in the Old Mill District(former Orvis building) for a fun, educational family friendly event.
By donating to this campaign you are supporting Saving Grace's work with sexual assault survivors. Healing from sexual assault is easier when you have emotional support. At Saving Grace, we provide immediate support through hospital repsonse advocacy.
Carrie arrived at the hospital after she was sexually assalted. There to greet her was a Saving Grace Volunteer ready to comfort and help Carrie through these next steps.
Carrie recieved a comfort bag including a change of clothes (because her clothes contained evidence that she had to turn over to police) as well as a toothbrush, water, gum, socks, and undergarments.
While Carrie was at the hospital her family arrived and was able to speak with the Saving Grace Volunteer to learn about rescources available to help them heal.
Your donation will go toward providing the First Response Comfort Kits and the time and training of the Saving Grace Volunteer Advocates. A $100 donation covers a First Response Comfort Kit.
Thank you for your support!
