This August will mark the 10th Anniversary of Katrina; a celebration of progress, a commemoration of an event that changed the way people think about disaster prevention and recovery in America and a time to recognize that there are still too many families waiting to come home! SBP has made significant impact but we need to keep going!
Our goal is for the Spring Break Volunteer Coalition to raise $50,000 by August 1, 2015. This is enough money to sponsor 2 homes, which will be dedicated at the 10th Anniversary.
Myself and a group of other eager and emerging professional are taking a trip to NOLA to contribute to the efforts of the St. Bernard Project. We'll be able to see immediate results by helping to rebuild homes, but we also want to be able to assist the program in achieving their long-term objectives. By raising funds we can help ensure that the program continues to flourish in its service to their community. Help us help the program. Thank you for your support!
