In America, one woman is fatally shot by a spouse, ex-spouse or dating partner every 14 hours. The National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCADV) is working towards preventing this by creating a culture where domestic violence is not tolerated; and where society empowers victims and survivors, and holds abusers accountable.
NCADV is the voice of victims and survivors, and they aim to change domestic violence by affecting public policy, increasing understanding of the impact of domestic violence, and providing programs and education that drive this change. Some of the programs they provide are technical and grassroots support at both a local and national level.
Corey Hinson & Associates is supporting the NCADV organization and their efforts to promote legislation and policies that serve and protect victims and survivors of domestic violence, and changing the narrative surrounding this issue.
