ALK 4 AUTISM IS BACK WITH 3.0
The live 12-hour-Internet Radio show known as Talk 4 Autism has announced the date for version 3.0 set for April 4th 2015 starting at 1 P.M. EST at talk4autism.com. The show will be hosted for a third consecutive times by Nick Larson and Brian Kellar, both that have children with Autism.
#T4A has also announced that the National Autism Association will once again be the charity that 100% of donations will be going too. NAA is a non-profit organization that advocates and educates the public on the danger of wandering, one of many behaviors associated with Autism. Last year the show was able to raise enough money to supply 10 families with the NAA’s “Big Red Safety Box,” a safety kit to help prevent wandering.
Autism is a rapidly growing social disorder that the CDC now estimates that 1 in 68 children have been diagnosed with Autism. According to Wendy Founder, President of National Autism Association, those numbers only look at those that were born in 2000 and before, so there is still more to find.
