The Tambayacu and Ahuano, Incan communities, live in Ecuador, in the Amazon Rain Forest. Already impoverished communities, water is unsafe to drink, and the communities struggle to gain basic health care from water borne illnesses. They need ongoing help to develop their communities, gain access to clean water, better education, and to promote economic development.
A group of students, parents, and teachers will be traveling to these communities in June and July 2013 to deliver and help install 50 Sawyer water filters in family homes. At $50 per water filter, our online goal is $2500 for this initiative!
