I'm an Arizona native, second-generation printer, and business owner. I'm a color fanatic, I thrive on deadlines and I'm a real partner to my customers, I've been known to set my alarm and be out the door by 4 AM to make sure a customer project is executed smoothly. The 2016 Election cycle was extra busy and because of the long hours, Yeh, my professional dance partner and instructor, and I got a late start on Dance Rehearsals. We are working overtime to make it a great performance!
I love to dance! I was inspired by my cousin, Kim McWaters to dance. She choreographed my first Pom Pon try-out dance to Bette Midler's Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy! The dance ended with a leap and landed in the splits. I made the high school dance line! I continued to dance into college and got to experience working with some really talented instructors and take master classes in Los Angeles. It has been many years since I was on a dance floor! This experience of rehearsing reminds me that I love to work hard for something I love so much and how fun it is to dance.
Throughout the years, I have served on the boards of The Boys and Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Phoenix, Playworks Arizona and Connecting The Dots Ministries.
I'm a wife and mom which makes being a small business owner extra challenging. I have a super family; Dr. Cory Dobbs founder of The Academy for Sport Leadership, Daughter Emily currently attending Grand Canyon University and Son Austin, a 2nd grader at Joy Christian School, who has had patience for me as I've added dance rehearsals to my busy schedule!
When I'm not in the press-room (or on the dance floor) you can find me in my kitchen baking my world famous chocolate chip cookies. I have a secret desire to open a bakery someday!
