Team Kori's Light The Knight Fundraiser
Organized by: Betty Brown
EVENT DATE Oct 11, 2014
My Great Granddaughter Kori isn’t a soldier but at 3 years old she saw more than her share of battles. Kori was diagnosed in June 2013 with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, a form of childhood cancer. Since then, she has undergone blood transfusions, chemotherapy & numerous tests.
One year later Kori is making headway towards remission and still undergoing chemotherapy with a goal towards a full recovery. Her recovery and treatment was funded with the help of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
When The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light The Night Walk funds treatments that save lives, it's all due to people like you. Without your efforts LLS could not provide these lifesaving treatments. LLS really is making cures happen with your help. Friends, families and co-workers form fundraising teams and millions of consumers help by donating at retail outlets. These efforts culminate in inspirational, memorable evening walks in over two hundred communities each fall across North America.
Please join our Team Kori’s efforts by making a donation. Your participation in the Light The Night Walk will save lives today. Thanks for your support!
