'Built on 20 years of experience, WE Villages is our international development model that addresses the five primary causes of poverty. This highly effective five-pillar model helps provide holistic and sustainable solutions that work in tandem to transform communities.'
Campbell Collegiate is working together to raise money for WE's Opportunity pillar under the WE villages program. The money will go to support women and communities in Tanzania, by teaching them the skills and a giving them the resources they need to live sustainably. It also makes a specifically impact on women, who receive the training and support they need to increase their income-generating skills. These skills are then passed on to friends and children, ensuring long term, sustainable solutions to a household’s and a community’s economic challenges. When mothers are given the education, tools and skills to earn a living, they are in a position to provide for their children- sending them to school, receiving healthcare. We decided to reach out and help out the people of Tanzania and together, we can create a huge impact.
In the past couple of years, the Campbell Me to We team has helped conutries all around the world including China and India. We helped support the construction of a school and a well in Rural China and last year helped create a health center in Rural India. Thanks to the major success and support we've recieved from you, the Campbell Me to We team was award the Young Idealist Award last year! We look forward to having this continued support from you and hope we can reach this goal together!
Together WE are the change!
