BENEFITING: TOWER CANCER RESEARCH FOUNDATION
EVENT DATE: Dec 08, 2013
Many of you know that this past year I have become quite the Spinning fanatic. Whether at Crunch or at SoulCycle, I'm my happiest when I'm sweating buckets on a spin bike in the center of amazing music and breathtaking energy. I gush plenty (non-stop?) about my favorite spin instructor. I go on-and-on(-and-on?) about my precious spin family. A few of you have also been witness to my full-blown FOMO meltdowns when I have to miss a class. I just can't help it. Nothing makes my soul glow like 45 minutes of tap backs, steady climbs, and jumping it out.
I'm happy to report that I am happy and healthy and perfectly able to make my soul glow on a regular basis. Too many people are living with diseases like Cancer that prevent them from moving as freely as they'd like, and that just stinks. Don't even get me started about how many of those people living with Cancer are children! Tiny, little, adorable kids that only want to run around, have fun, and uhh, just be Batman.
So on December 8, I'm going to spin for a cause. Sure, I'll be feeding my own addiction, but with your help I'll also be supporting a Cancer Free Generation. I once lost a friend to Cancer when it was too late to say goodbye, and nothing has ever left a bigger dent on my heart.
Help me raise $500 to participate in this awesome event. I'll be super grateful.
Cancer Free Generation (CFG) is the young leadership division of Tower Cancer Research Foundation, a Los Angeles-based charitable organization dedicated to providing grants for clinical trials, innovative research, caring patient support and community education to promote elective treatments for cancer and blood disorders.
